Youth development Academy is (NOT) a league but a fundamental training Academy that helps students in the Elementary & Middle School age group to not only better themselves in the game of basketball but also to better themselves by having the opportunity to be in an environment that will (CHALLENGE TO CHANGE) them!
This Academy has been built to put the kids who have been overlooked, kids that have given up on their desire, and who need another chance to continue their pursuit of success in the game of basketball and the building of confidence.
The academy will cater to the age groups of:
-Third (3rd) – Fourth (4th) grade BOYS & GIRLS
-Fifth (5th) – Sixth (6th) grade BOYS & GIRLS
-Seventh (7th) – Eighth (8th) grade BOYS & GIRLS
Courses will be twice (2x-3x) weekly and will consist of Skills, Drills, and Concepts that will help the players develop and grow effectively! Each course will be 1:00 hour long
REAL IN GAME DEVELOPMENT WILL ALSO TAKE PLACE WITH COURSES SET UP FOR STUDENTS TO PARTICIPTAE IN 4V4 & 5V5 SETTINGS
–MONDAY, TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY EVENING
Once skills and on court development is accomplished, there will be space given for STUDENTS to have a chance to hear words of encouragement, constructive criticism, and words of FAITH that will help each individual player develop MENTALLY AND SPIRITUALLY!
